CRP2: Policies, Institutions, and Markets

This program will identify policies and institutions necessary for smallholder producers in rural communities, particularly women, to increase their income through improved access to, and utilization of markets. Researchers will determine how challenges and failures related to agricultural growth can be overcome so that policies, institutions, and markets can be used most effectively to reduce poverty, improve food security, promote sustainable rural development, and increase small producers’ incomes.
