CRP3.7: Livestock and Fish

This program aims to boost the productivity of small-scale livestock and fish systems in order to increase the availability and affordability of meat, milk, and fish for poor consumers, especially women and children, and to raise incomes among smallholders . In doing so, it expects to reduce malnutrition, as well as cut poverty through greater participation by the poor along animal-source food value chains. To help these value chains perform better, the program will identify and address key constraints and opportunities, improve institutional arrangements and capacities, and support the establishment of enabling pro-poor policy and institutional environments.
